Judith Weis is a professor and faculty expert of marine biology at Rutgers University, Newark. Weis's research focuses on the responses of estuarine organisms to stresses, particularly heavy metal contaminants. Her lab site is situated in close proximity to New Jersey's Hackensack Meadowlands and Newark Bay.
