It is the first album without bassist and co-principle songwriter Duncan Patterson, with Dave Pybus joining the band to replace him. The band's other major songwriter Danny Cavanagh taking on a larger share of the songwriting duties than before to compensate for the void left by Patterson's departure. It is also the band's first album featuring original drummer John Douglas since his return in 1998.
The album peaked #151 on the UK Albums Chart.
