Judge Matharu (born June 20, 1967), also known as Jagjivan Matharu, is a British Author, consultant and the founder of Transform to Success Ltd.

Early life
Born and bred in the Wolverhampton in the West Midlands Judge is the youngest of four siblings. He went to Valley Park Comprehensive School where he studied his ‘O’ and ‘A’ levels. During his time at this school his friends would refer to him as ‘Jagji’ and ‘Jag’ and has been commonly known as ‘Judge’ since 1987. He went to Bradford University where he studied Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
Career
Judge spent a lot of his early career working in Telecommunications much of this with BT. In the latter years of his career with BT, he got involved in the topic of benefits management – a growing field focusing on the pro-active management of the business benefits from change activity.
Judge developed a passion for this and decided to devote his career to this specialist and growing field. Benefits management is industry agnostic – it is an approach to proactive management of business benefits that can be applied to any change in any industry. This enabled Judge to work across many industries in both private and public sector since leaving BT at the end of 2009. Over the course of his career, he provided consultancy to on benefits management. Transport for London, Kier Group Ltd, Jaguar Land Rover, Hounslow Borough Council and BT.
One of Judge's frustrations as he operated in his specialist field was the lack of readily accessible and easy to follow advice on how to apply benefits management – he could see that the vast majority of organisations were very immature on this topic and needed simple and practical advice and not theoretical.
Together with his association with Mike Green, a visiting Fellow at Henley Business School, he wrote his first book which was published in June 2015 called Practical Benefits Realisation Management. It is a practical and pragmatic guide to applying benefits management which reflected the years of experience and learning that Judge had acquired.
Judge is also a member of both APM and PMI – professional bodies associated with project and programme management. He is also involved with the APM ‘Benefits Management Specific Interest Group’ a group dedicated to promoting the topic and its professionalism and has facilitated presentation and workshops at the last two APM Annual Summit for Benefits Management.
Judge also supports organisations developing their benefits management capabilities including the provision of training which has included training delivery in UK, Middle East and China.
