Joyce Ann Elliott is a Democratic member of the Arkansas Senate, representing the 31st District since 2009. She is the former Majority Leader. She was previously a member of the Arkansas House of Representatives from 2000 through 2006.

Elliott ran against Republican nominee Timothy Griffin for the seat of the Democratic incumbent Vic Snyder who retired. On November 2 Elliott lost to Griffin.
