The Journal of Religion and Health is an interdisciplinary peer-reviewed academic journal published by Springer Science+Business Media. It publishes original articles that deal with mental and physical health in relation to religion and spirituality of all kinds. The journal was established in 1961 by the Blanton-Peale Institute.

Schizophrenia and possession
In 2014, the journal published a controversial article arguing that schizophrenia could be caused by demonic possession and that "it would be useful for medical professions to work together with faith healers to define better treatment pathways for schizophrenia".
