At Hogan, Josh briefed cases in multiple federal circuit courts, numerous state courts and the Supreme Court of the United States. His practice spanned multiple fields of law, including the First Amendment, copyright, ERISA and criminal law.

Hawley has served as Senior Counsel to The Becket Fund for Religious Liberty.
