Life
Fiore was born in Cleveland, Ohio. The Artist's father was a violinist and founding member of the Cleveland Symphony. Fiore came to North Carolina in the summer of 1946 to study at Black Mountain College. The artist remained at the school until it closed in 1957. After over a decade at Black Mountain, the artist settled in New York City.
Work
Fiore created abstract oil paintings and collages. His work was frequently was frequently inspired by the natural world. The vast majority of works Fiore created at Black Mountain College were lost to a fire in 1953. However, some of his colorful collages were spared.
