Jordon McGrotty (born 10 February 1994) is a professional footballer who is current club is Maryhill F.C.. He previously played for Partick Thistle in Scottish First Division.

Career

McGrotty was first spotted by Partick Thistle's scout Gus Black. This led to the clubs officials watching him play a match on the 2 June 2010 in which they were impressed by his pace. A week later on the 8 June he signed a full-time professional contract along with Shaun Fraser.

He quickly progressed through the Under-17 & Under-19 squads culminating in him making his first senior appearance at the age of seventeen. The match was a 2–0 home victory against Greenock Morton towards the latter part of the 2010–11 season with McGrotty enter the match as 88th-minute substitute.

In June 2011 he was part of an under-19 side who won the Stonehouse Violet Challenge Cup. Thistle beat Glasgow Perthshire 7–6 on penalties in the semi-final before defeating Stonehouse Violet 4–1 in the final with McGrotty scoring twice. Having failed to feature during the 2011–12 season McGrotty was released on 1 June 2012.

On 18 August 2016, McGrotty sign for Maryhill F.C.
