After the show, she went to Los Angeles to start developing her music career and auditioned for TV and movie roles. While recording in Los Angeles, her label head (who did Dream with Diddy) mentioned he was in town and he wanted to hear her sing. McCoy stopped by the hotel and sang and danced for Combs. Diddy signed her to Bad Boy Records.

It has been reported by E! News that McCoy will appear on Diddy's upcoming album We Invented the Remix Vol. 2. Her song "Rockstar" was featured on an episode of The Hills, a commercial for American Idol, and an episode of Make It or Break It. Her other song "Rock 'N Roll Girl" was featured in the film PollyWorld.

McCoy had been posting videos of herself singing, while playing guitar, on her YouTube account JordanMcCoyTV every Tuesday. Some of these videos include her friends and former bandmates Imaj Thomas and Hunter Pecunia. Both Hunter and Imaj were once members of the Dream revival group, but have since left the band. McCoy's music can be sampled on her MySpace page. McCoy's was dropped from Bad Boy Records and her album "Just Watch Me" was shelved. Before she was dropped from Bad Boy Records Jordan released her only EP "Jordan McCoy". She retired from music after being dropped from Bad Boy Records. Jordan is now married to Blake Bramlett. Blake was diagnosed with Brain cancer. In 2013 Jordan gave birth to their daughter Violet. In 2016 Jordan and Blake welcomed their son Elias. Jordan McCoy is now enrolled at The College of Agricultural Sciences at Southern Illinois University Carbondale and studying forestry.
