Jonathan Monaghan (born September 14, 1986 in Rockaway Beach, Queens, New York) is an American computer animator and artist. He received his BFA in computer graphics from the New York Institute of Technology. Monaghan then went on to receive a MFA from the University of Maryland.

Career
Monaghan's animations have been exhibited at the Sundance Film Festival. His work have been reviewed in the Washington Post and the Village Voice.
In its November 2011 issue, DC Modern Luxury Magazine named Monaghan one of the "Top 10 young artists to collect".
Monaghan is represented by bitforms gallery in New York.
3D printing
In June 2011, Monaghan was artist in residence at MakerBot Industries. in Brooklyn, New York and was selected by U.S. Department of State to speak on 3D printing.
