Career

John Shahidi founded RockLive, a mobile gaming company, with his brother Sam in January 2010. Prior to founding RockLive, Shahidi worked as a brand manager for Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Mayweather later became an investor in Shahidi's mobile platform application. The company released games with Chad Johnson, Mike Tyson, Cristiano Ronaldo and Usain Bolt. Shahidi served as the company's president and CEO. In 2013, RockLive became Shots as it focused on the social network part of the platform.

Shahidi and his brother developed Shots, a selfie photo sharing application and social network, in May 2013 with Justin Bieber. The application is aimed to provide a safe, cyber-bully free environment for users. Shahidi's anti-bullying approach was inspired by his personal experience as a victim of bullying. The application is available for Android and iOS.
Shahidi continues to meet with Justin Bieber to discuss Shots and mentor one another. Their relationship has led to Shahidi's active Twitter page.
Shahidi also advises with Floyd Mayweather, Tyga, King Bach, and Scooter Braun.
