Sir John Neville (by 1488 - 15 June 1541), of Chevet, West Yorkshire, was an English politician.

He was the son of Sir John Neville (c.1436-1502) of Liversedge, Yorks and was knighted in 1513 when fighting at the Siege of Tournai.

After joining the Royal household he held a number of court appointments and was appointed High Sheriff of Yorkshire for 1518-19, 1523-24 and 1527-28.

He may have been Member of Parliament (MP) for Yorkshire before 1529. In the Parliament of 1529 he succeeded to the vacancy created on the occasion of his kinsman John Neville, 3rd Baron Latimer moving to the House of Lords.

In April 1541 he was arrested, committed to the Tower and charged for treason in that he failed to report a conspiracy against the Crown in the West Riding and was executed at York in June of that year. He had married Elizabeth, the daughter and coheiress of William Bosvile of Chevet, and the widow of Sir Thomas Tempest (d.1507) of Bracewell, Yorkshire. He had at least 4 sons and 4 daughters.
