Johanna Elizabeth Martin Waterous CBE (born September 1957) is a London-based Canadian businesswoman.

Early life

Johanna Elizabeth Martin Waterous was born in September 1957 in Canada. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario. She received a master in business administrator from the Harvard Business School.

Business career

Waterous worked for McKinsey & Company in London for two decades, where she was co-head of its marketing and sales practice department by 2007. She also served as the Chairman of Tate Enterprises, the retail arm of the Tate galleries, from 1998 to 2006. Additionally, she served on the Board of Directors of Shoppers Drug Mart.

Waterous serves as operating partner at Duke Street Capital, a private equity firm based in London. She also serves as the Chairman of Chairman of Sandpiper CI, which is co-owned by Duke Street Capital and Europa Capital.

Waterous serves on the Boards of Directors of Morrisons, Rexam and RSA Insurance Group.

Philanthropy

Waterous serves on the Board of Trustees of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew Foundation.

By 2012, Waterous had donated GBP£4,000 to the Conservative Party. She was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the 2013 New Year Honours.
