Early life
Joel Bomgar was born on February 6, 1980. He graduated from Belhaven University. He served in the Mississippi Air National Guard.
Career
Bomgar founded Bomgar, a tech company. As CEO, he helped grow Bomgar Corporation to the world's leading provider of enterprise remote support technology that employs over 200 people worldwide.
Bomgar served on the Steering Committee of the Mississippi Economic Council Mississippi Blueprint. Additionally, he served on the Boards of Trustees of the Madison County Foundation and his alma mater, Belhaven University.
Bomgar has served as a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives since January 2016. He represents District 58, including Madison, Mississippi. He serves as Vice-Chairman of the House Medicaid Committee.
Personal life
Bomgar is married to Rachel Roberts. They reside in Madison, Mississippi.
Bomgar is a member of Redeemer Presbyterian Church.
