Joe Jones (20 April 1916 - 11 January 1974) was a Welsh rugby union and professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s, playing club level rugby union (RU) for Cilfynydd RFC, and playing representative level rugby league (RL) for Great Britain, and Wales, and at club level for Wigan, and Barrow, as a fullback, Centre, stand-off/five-eighth, or loose forward/lock, i.e. number 1, 3 or 4, 6, or 13.

Joe Jones won 15 caps for Wales (RL) in 1940–1949 while at Wigan and Barrow, and won a cap for Great Britain (RL) while at Barrow in 1946 against New Zealand.
County League appearances
During Joe Jones' time, there was Wigan's victory in the Lancashire County League during the World War II affected 1940–41 season.
Challenge Cup Final appearances
