Courtney played Third for Valerie Sweeting. She gained recognition in the curling world for her aggressive sweeping style together with Rachelle Pidherny. Though Courtney threw third rocks, she did not hold the broom for the Skip, but instead brushed with the front end. Dana Ferguson, the team's Second, served as vice-skip for Sweeting.
