Jiella is a band from Utsjoki, Finland that plays pop music and sings in Northern Sami. Jiella's history starts in 1999 when they sang for the first time together in public. At that point in time, the band was known as Niilo ja nieiddat (Niilo and his daughters).

Gosnu

Gosnu is Jiella's first CD, which was published in December 2002. Niilo's third daughter, Mia, sings on this album, too, even though she is not a member of the band itself.
