Jhaukhel is a village inside Changunarayan Municipality in Bhaktapur District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 5,213 with 901 houses in it.Most of the peoole are engaged in agriculture. About 80% of people are newar here.
