Contents

Jet Geyser is a very accessible and intimate geyser, being close to a park road and alongside a boardwalk.

Jet's eruptions are generally frequent but unpredictable. Its behavior is closely linked to nearby (and much bigger) Fountain Geyser. Eruptions can be expected every 7 to 30 minutes with the frequency increasing as the time for an eruption of Fountain Geyser approaches. Jet is a cone-type geyser and erupts from at least five vents. The vents produce varying quantities of water and steam for about a minute. The central vent will usually erupt to about 20 feet (6.1 m).
