Jessica Nilete Coward (nee Maldonado; born August 28, 1985) is a Puerto Rican - American amateur boxer. She is a two time Philadelphia Golden Gloves Champion and one time Eastern Regional and Pennsylvania State Champion.

Coward is the featured boxer and assistant trainer in Coach Rick's "Mastering the Art of Technical Boxing Mittwork" DVDs. On season 12 episode 31 of MTV's MADE Coward co-starred as assistant trainer alongside James Ricky Coward in helping make Derek Frazier, the youngest son of Smokin' Joe Frazier, a boxer.

  • Personal life

    Coward was born and raised in Queens, New York to Puerto Rican parents. Coward moved to New Jersey at the age of 15 with her family and at the age of 20 she began boxing at a local YMCA. In 2007 Coward began training and competing under renowned boxing trainer James Ricky Coward. She won 2 consecutive Golden Gloves titles in 2008 and 2009. In 2009 Coward won the Eastern Regional and Pennsylvania State Championships.

    Coward married her boxing trainer James Ricky Coward and together they started a successful boxing and fitness business Mittology Training, LLC. Her notoriety began while being regularly featured on James Ricky Coward's boxing training videos where she showcased her ability to hit the pads like future hall of fame boxer, Floyd Mayweather Jr.. Coward and her husband gained worldwide recognition after filming their own boxing mittwork training DVD series titled, "Mastering the Art of Technical Boxing Mittwork". In the series they are renowned for being one of the first trainer and boxer to properly break down the unique Roger Mayweather padwork style, systemize it and successfully teach it so that trainers from around the world would be able utilize it.
