Iron Fist

Jeryn Hogarth Religion of Jeryn Hogarth of the group Heroes for Hire founder

After Wendell Rand's death, Hogarth became the executor of his estate. He kept Wendell's son Iron Fist under surveillance after his return to the states, he hired Misty Knight and Colleen Wing to contact him and verify that he was truly his friend's son.

Heroes for Hire

Initially, Heroes for Hire, Inc. was a small business licensed by the state of New York that offered a full line of professional investigation and protection services. Heroes for Hire was owned by Luke Cage and Daniel Rand. It had offices on Park Avenue and two paid employees: Jenny Royce, the group's secretary and Jeryn Hogarth, the group's lawyer and business representative. Heroes for Hire would not accept jobs that involved extralegal activities.

Jeryn asked Luke Cage and Iron Fist to escort his daughter Millie Hogarth to a debutante's ball to impress his ex-wife. But Nightshade, Stiletto, Discus, Man Mountain Marko, and the Eel come to kidnap her.

Superhuman Registration Act

During the Civil War, he opposes the Superhuman Registration Act. Jeryn stopped Iron Man from arresting Iron Fist, stating that he is already a registered weapon in the US.

Marvel Cinematic Universe

Jeri Hogarth, a gender-swapped version of the character, appears in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Netflix series, portrayed by Carrie-Anne Moss. She is the first lesbian character of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Hogarth is a lawyer at the Manhattan law firm of Hogarth, Chao & Benowitz.

Jessica Jones

Jeri Hogarth is first introduced in season 1 of Jessica Jones, where she provides Jessica Jones with cases, even though she doesn't agree with Jessica's methods of handling them. She is married to a doctor named Wendy Ross, until she has an affair with her secretary, Pam. She agrees to take on the case to free Hope Schlottman, a woman manipulated by Kilgrave into shooting her own parents, at Jessica's request. Jeri seeks a divorce from Wendy, and hires Jessica to find dirt on Wendy, as Wendy blackmails her by using evidence that would put her career at risk, as Jeri has gone through unethical methods to win some of her cases. She even encourages Jessica to use her powers to threaten Wendy into signing the divorce papers. She also envies Kilgrave's abilities to manipulate everyone around him and even steals Hope's aborted fetus (when she was raped by Kilgrave) to try to find the secret of his powers, and is responsible for Kilgrave escaping Jessica's prison. Ultimately, Kilgrave makes her go to Wendy after escaping the prison. Kilgrave is so disgusted by Jeri's actions as a lawyer and towards Wendy that he orders Wendy to give her a "death by a thousand cuts". Wendy begins slicing at Jeri's face with a knife, but only makes it to 30 cuts when Pam comes in and strikes Wendy over the head, killing her instantly. Pam is arrested and breaks up with Jeri, now knowing what type of person she truly is. After Jessica kills Kilgrave, Jeri is present at her interrogation and convinces the police to let her go.

Daredevil

Early on in season 2 of Daredevil, it is mentioned that Hogarth hired on Foggy Nelson's girlfriend Marci Stahl after most of Landman & Zack was arrested for aiding and abetting Wilson Fisk. In the season 2 finale "A Cold Day In Hell's Kitchen," Jeri approaches Foggy and offers him a job at Hogarth, Chao & Benowitz, having been very impressed by Foggy's legal defense of Frank Castle. Matt Murdock persuades Foggy to take Hogarth's offer as a way to move on.

Iron Fist

Moss will also reprise the role of Hogarth in Iron Fist and The Defenders.
