The show is normally attended by a visiting Royal Navy ship, in 2008, this was HMS Kent (F78). In 2009, HMS York (D98) was the visiting ship, followed by HMS Mersey (P283) in 2010, and her sister ship the HMS Severn (P282) in 2011.

It was estimated that 30,000 people attended in 2012, about the same as 2011. HMS Mersey was present again at show.
