Jeremy Blaustein (born 1966) is a Japanese translator. Born in Long Island, New York, Blaustein began studying writing and Japanese language at the University of Iowa and continued his graduate and post-graduate studies at the University of Illinois and the University of Pittsburgh. After working at Konami in Tokyo in the mid-90s, he began work as a freelance translator. He is best known for his work in video games, most notably as the translator of the original Metal Gear Solid (1998). Blaustein also has been a translator for the Pokémon anime and movies since 2003. He lives in Japan.
