Jerada (Berber: ⵊⵔⴰⴷⴰ, Arabic: جرادة, Jrada) is a city in the Oriental region of northeastern Morocco. It is located close to the border with Algeria.

Jerada is the capital city of Jerada Province. According to the 2014 census the municipality had a population of 43,506 people living in 8,953 households.
History
The 1948 Anti-Jewish Riots in Oujda and Jerada occurred in this city and Oujda. In Jerada the Jewish population, consisting of about a hundred souls, had been surrounded by an uncontrollable mob and attacked with outrageous savagery. Neither children nor old men were spared; thirty-nine Jews lost their lives, thirty were severely injured and others less severely so.
