Jelmer Wiersma is a Dutch heavy metal guitarist. With Rene Rutten, he was one of the two original guitarists of The Gathering. After the release of their fourth full-length album, Nighttime Birds, he decided to leave the band and become a sound engineer. Still playing guitar frequently for fun and was part of the TG92 project. Soundworkhops for beginners and teaching starting musicians how to handle the live music business is what he does these days
