MacIntyre received two Emmy Awards in July, 2014 for his work on The Legacy of Heart Mountain, in the categories of Outstanding Editor, Programming and Outstanding Videographer, Programming. In total, he has won 11 Emmy Awards and 4 Edward R. Murrow's for his work with ABC News.
