Achievements

Dr.Duyn was one of the few inventors of the MRI but specifically invented the motion correction method to reduce artifacts in brain inspection for the MRI. This will allow the increase in quality of the MRI with head movement which will make it easier to acquire brain images of children. Dr.Jeff Duyn did research and invented Tesla Magnetic Resonance Imaging to Detect Cortical Pathology in multiple sclerosis.

He is known very well among universities all around the countries but is credited for his work and speeches and UC-Berkeley and Cornell University. Duyn is also credited for his work across the globe, and often travels to announce new inventions and research done by himself and team at NIH.

Along with his many achievements to the neuroscience department of NIH, Jeff Duyn is also an avid runner and has run many marathons. Duyn placed 1st place in his age group, during the 2014 Boston Marathon, finishing in 2:40:02. He continues to run and train for his next race.
