Jedediah Bila to co-host 'The View'
Background

Bila was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. On Twitter, Bila has said she is of Italian heritage. She graduated valedictorian from Wagner College with a B.A. in Spanish and a minor in Business Administration. She earned a Master of Arts from Columbia University in Spanish literature.

She is a former high-school academic dean and adviser and spent several years teaching in New York City. She has taught middle school, high school, and college students.
Television career

In January 2013, Bila was hired on Fox News as a contributor. In April 2014, she became a panelist on the talk show Outnumbered. In August 2016, she announced her departure from Fox News to join ABC's The View as a permanent co-host for the show's 20th season. Bila departed The View on September 18, 2017.
Personal life

On June 12, 2017, Bila announced her engagement to boyfriend Jeremy Scher.
Political views

Bila has stated that she is not a Democrat or a Republican, and that she has a "strong libertarian streak". She has described herself as a conservative libertarian, and stated that she is a registered independent.
