Jean Desprez

Jean Desprez (born Laurette Larocque on September 1, 1906; died in Montreal on January 27, 1965), was a comedian, journalist, writer, and director associated to radio and television. She was known as a Quebecois radio personality and dramatist. She created the Canadian soap Jeunesse dorée, which is a term for affluent youth particularly of the bullying kind. She had an early role in television in Quebec.
