Jaykaypur is a small town in Rayagada district, Odisha, India. Odisha State Highway 4, Odisha State Highway 5, and punjab State Highway 45 meet here. The main developing factor for Jaykaypur is J.K Paper Mills.This Mill has been here for more than five decades. It has very fine schools like L.P.S Public School and L.P.S School, which has a very wide network of Alumni who are working in prestigious companies all over the world in various fields. Like Shrikant Shridhar as an officer at IOCL, Kalyan Mohan serving in Defence, Manjit Kumar Singh as a banker.
