Jayce Michael Tingler (born November 28, 1980) is an American professional baseball coach for the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball.

Career

Tingler attended the University of Missouri, where he played college baseball for the Missouri Tigers baseball team. He was named All-Big 12 Conference in 2003, his senior year.

The Toronto Blue Jays selected Tingler in the tenth round of the 2003 MLB Draft. The Texas Rangers selected Tingler from the Blue Jays in the Triple-A phase of the Rule 5 draft after the 2005 season. After playing in Minor League Baseball for four seasons, became a minor league coach for the Rangers' Dominican Summer League affiliate in 2007. He became the manager of the Arizona Rangers of the Rookie-level Arizona League in 2010, and a roving instructor for the organization in 2011. In 2012, he was promoted to minor league field coordinator. He was promoted to major league field coordinator for the 2015 season.

Personal life

Tingler and his wife, Callie, have two sons, and live in Smithville, Missouri.
