Jayakumar Jitendrasinh Rawal is a member of the 13th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. He represents the Sindkheda Constituency. He belongs to the Bharatiya Janata Party Rawal was also Member of Legislative Assembly from Sindkheda in 2009. Rawal was one of the general secretaries of the Bharatiya Janata Party Maharashtra State unit in 2013.

Controversy

On 20 March 2013, Rawal was suspended as legislator in relation to the alleged beating up of police officer Sachin Suryawanshi, in the Assembly complex. A state legislature investigating committee later found him not guilty and his suspension was revoked. According to a report in Loksatta, Rawal has been allegedly involved in many criminal activities and has cases against him in relation to murderous assault, kidnapping of a councillor, attempt to murder rioting and financial fraud.
