Jati Umrah is a small town located near Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. The town was not well known until Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif decided to build a Raiwind Palace spread over more than 0.5 million sq ft. This is accessed through Raiwind Road from Lahore towards on south.This palace is spread over large area and shows the wealth of Sharif family.

Jatti Umra is Sharif family's palatial estate having Raiwind Palace at Lahore is named after their Indian ancestral of Jati Umra, Tarn Taran Sahib near Amritsar in Punjab, India. In December 2013, Shehbaz Sharif during India visit also went to the grave of his great grandfather Mian Mohammad Baksh at the village and offered a holy sheet. Mian Muhammad Sharif had lived in Indian Jati Umra before migrating to Lahore in 1932. Thus The father of Nawaz Sharif, Mian Sharif Mohammed, is buried at Jati Umra of Lahore.
