Janice K. McGeachin (born January 18, 1963 in Las Cruces, New Mexico) is a Republican candidate for Lieutenant Governor for the 2018 primary election. She has previously served has a Republican Idaho State Representative representing District 32 in the A seat from 2002 to 2012.

Education and career

McGeachin graduated from Skyline High School and earned her bachelor's degree in finance and accounting from University of Arizona. With her husband Jim, they own and operate three businesses in the automotive industry. Also in 2012, she and her family established the only Irish restaurant in downtown Idaho Falls, The Celt Pub & Grill.

McGeachin was unopposed for the Republican primary and the general election.

McGeachin was unopposed for the Republican primary and for the general election.

On April 5, 2017, McGeachin filled to run for Lieutenant Governor of Idaho. On April 19, 2017 McGeachin announced that she will run for Lt. Gov., hosting a kick off at Western Transmission, a business owned by her and her husband, with Senator Dean Mortimer endorsing her candidacy has well that day.
