Early life
Janice Fields grew up in Vincennes, Indiana. She has seven siblings.
Career
She started her career as a crew member during evening shifts at McDonald's in Dayton, Ohio in 1977. She served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of McDonald's USA from 2006 to 2010, and became President in January 2010. She starts working at 6.30 a.m. every workday.
She sits on the Board of Directors of Monsanto since April 2008. She sits on the Advisory Board of Catalyst. She sits on the Board of Trustees of the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago.
Personal life
She is married, and has one child. They reside in Chicago.
