James George Walker (9 October 1859 – 24 March 1923) was a Scottish rugby football player and cricket player.

Walker was born in Tradeston, Glasgow. He was capped twice for Scotland between 1882-83. He also played for West of Scotland FC.

He was the brother of Archibald Walker who was also capped for Scotland.

Walker was educated at Loretto School and Trinity College, Oxford. He played first-class cricket for Oxford University and Middlesex, and represented the Scotland national cricket team.

After graduating at Oxford, Walker studied law and was called to the bar at the Inner Temple in 1886. He died in Nether Auchendrane, near Ayr, Scotland.
