Jallah Arain is a town city of Lodhran District in the South side of the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is located 3 kilometers away on the side of Multan-Bahawalpur main road. There is a road starting at the Bus stop Jallah Moor on the Multan-Bahawalpur road, which leads to Jallah Arain. This town has a fertile land with beautiful villages around it. This area is famous for the ARAIN family with some native castes.

Education
There are two government schools in the region:
- Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School, Jallah Arain
- Govt. High School (for Boys), Jallah Arain. Govt. Boys High School is now upgraded to the Govt. Higher Secondary School (Boys) Jallah Arain.
Other than the government schools, there are few private schools and tuition institutes as well in the area, providing mostly the primary to Matric level education only.
Health
There is one government hospital in the area that provides the health services. However, it only fulfills the basic health needs of people and there is lack of proper equipment and treatment facilities. There are also a couple of doctors doing the private practice. People have to go to nearby district hospital in Lodhran or some other city if they need proper medical treatment.
MEPCO
MEPCO Sub Division office is also established in Jallah Arain Which is situated near the Union Council office Jallah Arain.
Water Supply
Water Supply scheme is operated by its users committee. Under ground water of Jallah Arain is brackish(Karwa). Water Supply Scheme comprise "4" Turbines which are fixed near the Mahmood Canal that provide sweet water in the city area of Jallah Arain. A project of Filtration Plant of water was started in the premises of Basic Health Unit in Jallah Arain but that was not completed only structure was constructed which is not in good condition at this time.
Graveyard
Two main graveyards are situated in city Jallah Arain and one in Basti Gareeb Abad(5 Marla scheme). Only some portion of one Graveyard namely Western side was provided Boundary wall but major portion of graveyard is out of Boundary wall. Other North side graveyard which is famous for the Buzarg Peer Budhan Lal is totally out of Boundary wall which is situated in the populated area. The area of graveyard is encroached due to non availability of Boundary wall.
5 Marla Scheme
5 Marla scheme is also situated in the east side of Jallah Arain namely Basti Gareb Abad.
