Jagoti is a Gram panchayat in Mahidpur tehsil in Ujjain district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Jagoti is about 30 kilometres (19 mi) from the city of Ujjain.

Geography
Jagoti is located at 23°24′7″N 75°48′20″E.
This village is very ancient and there is a famous Hnuman Mandir. During the British period Jagoti village has played major role to rejoice the movement of freedom. Many leader and Scientists belong to Jagoti village. Dr. R. P. Prajapati who is Assistant Professor in Bilaspur Central University also belongs to Jagoti village. He is awarded by Young Scientists Awards from Plasma Science Society of India and by Vigyan Bharti through a Gold Medal. He has visited Czech Republic, Italy, Germany and Japan to present his research work.
