Jae Joseph is a British West Indian American fashion enthusiast, art collector, curator, and former model, of the Montserratian descent. Montserrat /mɒntsəˈraet/ is a British Overseas Territory located in the Caribbean. He is the grandson of real estate entrepreneur Brennen Joseph, and cousin to professional soccer player Ezra Hendrickson.

Fashion & Modeling

In his early professional life, Jae Joseph was introduced to the fashion world as a model. Through agencies like Ford Models, he worked for Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, and Pringle of Scotland. Jae is most well known for his role as brand ambassador for Diesel Jeans, under the direction of Adriano Goldschmied and Wilbert Das.

In Los Angeles, he produced Fashion Week in 2009, and hosted a private viewing for Italian fashion house Etro's spring menswear collection in 2012.

Creative career

After modeling, Jae Joseph began his creative path with Jonathan Becker of Vanity Fair and went on to support major brands like Nike, Target, and Rodarte. Through NJ Khan Communications in Los Angeles, Jae handled Business Development for high profile clients including American Express, Diane von Furstenberg, Cosmopolitan Hotel, The James Beard Foundation, BLK DNM, 60 Thompson Hotel, HarperCollins, Vanity Fair at the Oscars, Zagat, Sundance Film Festival, Belvedere Vodka, and Art Basel Miami.

Education

Jae Joseph studied at Columbia University (alumni), Central Saint Martins, Sotheby’s Institute of Art, and Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze.
