Jacqueline Lacasa (Montevideo, 16 July 1970) is an Uruguayan visual artist. She is cultural agent, educational and researcher of contemporary art.

Biography
Jacqueline Helena Lacasa Igune began her studies in the Degree in Psychology in the Faculty of Psychology (University of the Republic).
She was member and educator for the Foundation of Contemporary Art in Montevideo, Uruguay between the years 2000 and 2010.
In the year 2007 she was appointed director of the National Museum of Visual arts until 2009, being the first woman to upload that position.
Member of the International Association of Critics of Art.
Postgraduate in Cultural Management and Heritage in Foundation Ortega and Gasset in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
It has made diverse projects curatoriales and collaborated in publications of contemporary art.
In 2015 it presented his book Influence - contemporary Art in the Uruguay of the 21st century.
