Jaclyn Bradley Palmer was born in Lorain, Ohio- a steel town West of Cleveland. After obtaining an Opera degree from Indiana University, Palmer took her musical training to Los Angeles where she began writing popular music for TV and Film. Singing on stages in the United States and Europe, she has also appeared as a regular cast member on several television shows, namely Vh1's "Breaking Bonaduce" and "Random Acts of Music," where she helped to create a 12-episode voice lesson series. Her employer at the time, television/radio personality Danny Bonaduce, played bass guitar at the CD release performance of her first album. A board certified music therapist (MT-BC), with a master's degree in music therapy, she studies the effect of music on surgery patients and is a published music in medicine author. Made of Gold: A Documentary Film

Palmer directed, produced and edited a film, titled, "Made of Gold: The Story of John Rozzano Jr." about her great uncle who was a young hero on the USS Indianapolis in World War II. Through stories, letters, photographs and interviews, Palmer discovered Rozzano and helped the world to learn of his legacy. After 71 years lost at sea, the Navy soldier is now home, with a monument in his honor residing at Veteran's Park in Lorain, Ohio. The film was a finalist at Los Angeles Cinefest, an official selection at Roma Cinema DOC, and winner at the Hollywood International Independent Documentary Awards where it received the award of excellence.

  • Quotes

  • "Have patience and trust things will happen as they're supposed to."
  • This journey has been paved with a thousand miracles... we're bringing him home, but he's finding us too, and we're finding each other through him."
  • “I really enjoyed learning about [John Rozzano Jr.], getting to know him and introducing him to the family as well, because a lot of my aunts and uncles and cousins didn’t know him,” Palmer said. “This gives him a marker that says, ‘I lived and I was important'"
  • "I realize that it my life, as long as I've followed the music, I've ended up right where I'm supposed to be."
  • "When there is no backup plan, the sky's the limit."
  • "Meet everyone...make friends with everyone. Many times musicians see others as competition, but on the contrary, they can be your greatest allies."
  • "Being famous is not something I ever dreamed of, but I want people to hear my songs."
  • "I have no regrets about anything I have ever done. I don't live my life too far in the future or too far in the past. I like to live in the present."
  • “Music can do magical things... nothing tops being bed side with a patient and seeing hope in their eyes."
  • “Today, I am partnering with surgeons and nurses to do my small part in helping [women] to cure cancer, and nothing can compare to that.”
  • "By drifting from your comfort zone, beautiful opportunities are available."
