Jabalpur - Indore Express is a daily superfast Mail/Express Train of the Indian Railways, which runs between Jabalpur Junction railway station of Jabalpur, an important city & military cantonment hub of India, and Indore Junction, the main railway station in Indore, the commercial hub and largest city of the Central India in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

History

The train, introduced in 2003, initially used to run up to Bhopal and later got extended till Indore in 2009. It was going via Itarsi Junction. The important halts of the train were Narsinghpur,Gadarwara, Pipariya, Itarsi, Hoshangabad and Habibganj.

Arrival and departure

Train no.11471 departs from Indore daily at 1745 hrs., reaching Jabalpur, the next day at 0540 hrs.

Train no.11472 departs from Jabalpur daily at 2300 hrs., reaching Indore, the next day at 1030 hrs.
