The train, introduced in 2003, initially used to run up to Bhopal and later got extended till Indore in 2009. It was going via Itarsi Junction. The important halts of the train were Narsinghpur,Gadarwara, Pipariya, Itarsi, Hoshangabad and Habibganj.
