Location

The college is located in Karimnagar district in Telangana, India, midway between Peddapalli and Manthani Road. It is around 65 km from Karimnagar and 17 km from Godavarikhani.

Purpose

The college was established in 2010 to provide engineering education to the rural youth of the backward districts of Adilabad, Karimnagar, Nizamabad and Warangal.

The college has been supported by Singareni Collieries Company for infrastructural development. As a social obligation the university is permitted to provide 5% reserved places in each discipline to the children of employees of Singareni Collieries.
