Special Needs Program

JCC Camp Grossman runs a unique integrative program for campers with disabilities. Campers in the program enjoy the same activities and camp environment under the guidance of counselors trained to work with disabled children.

Religious Emphasis

Although the majority of JCC Grossman campers and employees identify as Jewish, Judaism is not a requirement. Jewish values and traditions are explored through a variety of activities, including a weekly Oneg Shabbat celebration each Friday. All food brought to camp, and food supplied by the camp is strictly kosher. Campers from a more observant religious background have the option of enrolling in a separate Unit, in which there is more emphasis on prayer.
