J. C. Diwakar Reddy is an Indian politician from Andhra Pradesh. He won the Anantapur seat in the Indian general election, 2014 as a Telugu Desam Party candidate. In September 2017, he announced his resignation from his parliamentary position citing his dissatisfaction over his inability to do much for the welfare of people in his constituency.

Political career
Reddy has been elected 6 times to the State Assembly from the Tadipatri constituency in the Anantapur district. He was part of the YS Rajasekhar Reddy cabinet during 2004-2009 as Minister for Panchayat Raj. He was denied entry into the cabinet in 2009 and also later in N. Kiran Kumar Reddy’s ministry in 2010. He served as Protem Speaker in 2011.
Personal life

Reddy graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. He has one son and daughter.
