J'aime Crandall (born 28 April 1982) is an American ballet dancer. After short periods with South Korea's Universal Ballet and the Dutch National Ballet, she joined the Royal Danish Ballet in 2008, becoming one of its principal dancers in 2011.

Biography

Born in Virginia, she grew up in Arizona. When she was 13, she was admitted to the demanding Kirov Academy in Washington, D.C.. From 2000 to 2003 she danced with the Universal Ballet in Seoul, South Korea where her repertoire included works by Petipa, Balanchine, Brian Yoo and Oleg Vinogradov. She then became a member of the Dutch National Ballet in Amsterdam until 2008 when she joined the Royal Danish Ballet in Copenhagen, becoming a soloist in February 2011 and a principal dancer in December the same year. She has danced leading roles in The Sleeping Beauty, Études, La Sylphide and The Nutcracker.
