Anca Pandrea, parastas în amintirea lui Iurie Darie. Marele actor ar fi împlinit 90 de ani
Controversy

In October 2010, a Romanian newspaper published an uncensored photo shoot involving Darie and actress Anca Pandrea, then his wife of nearly a quarter century, partially naked in sex-mimicking scenes. One of the published photographs shows Darie licking on his wife's left breast. The actor and his spouse allegedly stated that they have an active sex life and that they would be perfect in an X-rated movie because "we are good at it". The pictorial stirred numerous negative reactions from conservative journalists, bloggers but also co-workers of Darie. The controversy was further fueled by another statement made by Pandrea, who confessed she wouldn't mind if her husband were to be dubbed "the porn grandfather".
Death

During his last years Darie suffered from diverse health problems including respiratory and cardiac insufficiency and also a stroke. He died on 9 November 2012, aged 83, in Bucharest, surrounded by his family.

According to IMDB, Iurie Darie featured in 50 films and television series in his six decade-long career.
