Italian Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (IAERE)

The Italian Association of Environmental and resource Economists is a scientific Association that aims at:

Contents

  • contributing to the development and application of environmental and resource economics as a science in Italy;
  • encouraging and improving communication between teachers, researchers and students in environmental and resource economics;
  • developing and encouraging the cooperation between university level teaching institutions and research institutions in Italy;
  • making available to institutions research results and encourage their application to develop and encouraging cooperation among companies, trade unions and environmental NGOs
  • The Association accomplishes its aims mainly by organizing workshops, conferences, exhibitions, seminars, meetings, panels, cooperating with journals and promoting postgraduate courses.

    The Association was founded in 2012, and is based in Venice.

    Annual conferences

    The first IAERE Annual Conference was held at the University of Ferrara in 8–9 February 2013. These are an invaluable opportunity for meeting, exchanging and debating current topics in environmental and resource economics. Conferences are held in Italy and unite participants with many colleagues from around the world. The activities at the Annual Conference include keynote speeches, contributed papers presented in parallel sessions, and the General Assembly of IAERE members. Next years’ conference:

  • Newsletter

    The IAERE Newsletter is meant as a tool for sharing information regarding events, research outputs, career and training opportunities in Italy and beyond. Each Newsletter issue includes institutional news and collects all the new contents published in the IAERE website after the release of the previous Newsletter issue.
