The Isha Life Wellness Centre at Chennai includes the Mahamudra restaurant, the Shambhavi Spa, the Shambhavi boutique and the Angamardhana fitness studio. The Angamardhana fitness studio derives its name from the yogic practice - angamardhana - it offers. Angamardhana is a physical aspect of yoga which incorporates aspects of traditional Indian martial arts. The Angamardhana regimen was designed by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev. The Shambhavi boutique offers for purchase, ethnic crafts and chic-a-bric which have been prepared by rural artisans. The Mahamudra restaurant specializes in various traditional South Indian cuisine. However, no rice dishes are available on the menu.

The Chennai centre's Mahamudra restaurant was included in the Miele Guide 2011/2012 edition's list of top 500 restaurants in Asia, in the stand-alone restaurant category. The centre was also awarded the 'Best Wellness Centre' in Chennai award by NDTV Hindu during the NDTV-Hindu Lifestyle Awards competition.
