Isaac Physics is a UK-based website designed to offer support and activities in physics problem solving to teachers and to students transitioning from GCSE (Y11), through to Sixth Form (Y12 & 13), to university. It combines an online study tool with face-to-face events at partner schools and institutions across the UK. Isaac is the new name for what began as the Rutherford Physics Partnership.

Contents

History

Isaac Physics is a Department of Education project at the University of Cambridge. Since its inception in 2014, it has developed and expanded thanks to work with the in-house software development team from the Digital Technology Group in the University’s Computer Laboratory.

Features

It now contains a suite of tools and content to support the development of problem-solving skills in physics and mathematics. Its aim is to raise student's aspirations, widen participation and build confidence.
